שמעתי שהרב ר' בער נבג"מ היה אצל הרב הבעש"ט נבג"מ, וכשראה שהבעש"ט אוכל היה נראה להרב ר' בער זלה"ה שהוא אוכל כמו אכילת מלאך ולא אכילת בן אדם, ופעם ראה שהוא אינו אוכל כמו מלאך מאחר שראה שאוכל כמו אדם. (אור החכמה פ' בשלח).
I heard that when Rabbi Dov Ber saw the Baal Shem Tov eat, it seemed that he ate like an angel, and not a human being. And once, he saw that he wasn’t eating like an angel, because he saw him eat like a human being. Ohr HaChochma, Beshalach
