Rabbi Nachman said that descendents of the Baal Shem Tov12Rabbi Nachman was himself a great-grandson of the Baal Shem Tov. are particularly accustomed to crying out to G-d at all times. This is because they are descendents of King David, whose whole life was devoted to this – that he should break his heart constantly to G-d. This is the essence of the Book of Psalms.
