I heard in the name of the Baal Shem Tov that the mind’s [sudden] illumination to the greatness of G‑d is like lightning. Just as lightning can instantly illuminate the whole world, so G‑d can illuminate a person’s mind in a second, so that he realizes the greatness of our Creator. Rav Yebei,Tehilim 18
