שמעתי בשם המקובל הר"י בעש"ט ז"ל שפירש הכתוב (תהלים קמ"ה) רצון יראיו יעשה ואת שועתם ישמע ויושיעם, כי מצד האמת אין להיראים האמתיים שום רצון, מחמת הבטחון והאמונה החזקה, שאומרים כל מה דעבד רחמנא לטב עביד (ברכות ד"ס ע"ב) והקדוש ברוך הוא מבקש בתקנתם יותר ממה שהם מבקשים, רק דהקדוש ברוך הוא מתאוה לתפלתן של צדיקים (יבמות ס"ד ע"א) עושה להם רצון, כדי שיתפללו לפניו ויעשה בקשתם, וזהו שאמר הכתוב רצון יראיו יעשה, שהוא יתברך עושה להם רצון, למען ואת שועתם ישמע ויושיעם, ודפח"ח: (תפלה למשה תהלים ק"ל והוא בס' לקוטי אמרים דכ"ח ע"ד סד"ה כל הבכור).
He will do the desire of those who fear Him, He will hear their cry and deliver them (Psalms 145:19). Really, those who truly fear G-d have no desire of their own. Their trust and faith in Him is so great that they say “Whatever the Compassionate One does is for the good.”10Berachos 60b. They known that G-d desires their welfare more than they could ever ask for themselves. However, the Holy One longs for the prayers of His righteous,11Yevamos 64a. and creates in them desire, that they should pray to Him, and He can fulfill their prayers. Thus, the verse says, “He makes the desire of those who fear Him,”12The Hebrew word aseh can mean both “make” and “do.” in order that “He will hear their cry and deliver them.” Tefilah l’Moshe, Tehilim
