ועשו להם ציצית וגו'. אותן הקשרים שעושין בציצית בסוף כל חוט וחוט, אמר [הרר"פ מקאריץ ז"ל] בשם הבעש"ט זצ"ל, שלא לעשות הקשרים הנ"ל ביום עשיית הציצית, אך ביום שלאחריו, כדי לחוש לדברי המגן אברהם (סי' י"א ס"ק כ"ג) שלא יהיה כמוסיף על הקשרים וכו': (מדרש פינחס ד"ל ע"א אות י"ג).
Regarding the knots that people make at the end of their tzitzis,12To keep them from unraveling. Rabbi Pinchas of Koretz said in the name of the Baal Shem Tov that one should not tie them on the same day as he ties his tzitzis; rather, he should wait until the next day. This takes into account the opinion of the Magen Avraham,13Shulchan Aruch, Orach Chayim 11:23. so that it does not look like you are adding extra knots. Midrash Pinchas, p. 30a
