1א. מִי שֶׁמַּטִּיל אֵימָה יְתֵרָה עַל הַצִּבּוּר שֶׁלּא לְשֵׁם שָׁמַיִם, אֵינוֹ רוֹאֶה בֶּן תַּלְמִיד־חָכָם.When one’s reason for instilling abundant fear in people is not for the sake of Heaven, he will not have a Torah scholar for a son.
