1א. עַל־יְדֵי מֻפְלְגֵי וַחֲרִיפֵי הַדּוֹר מְאִירִין אֶת הַיִּרְאָה, וְעַל־יְדֵי הַיִּרְאָה מִתְנוֹצֵץ זְכוּת אָבוֹת, וְעַל־יְדֵי הִתְנוֹצְצוּת הָאָבוֹת נִתְעוֹרֵר תְּשׁוּבָה בָּעוֹלָם.The outstanding and sharp minds of the generation cause the fear of Heaven to shine. This fear sparks the merit of ancestors, which in turn awakens the world to repentance.
