מתחלה כשרוצה להתפלל יהי' ביראה שהוא השער לכנוס לפניו ית' ויאמר בלבו למי אני רוצה לדבק א"ע להבורא בדיבורו כל העולמות ומהווה אותם ומקיים אותם. ויתבונן בגדלותו וברוממותו ואח"כ יכול להיות בעולמות העליונים:
Initially, when you want to pray, it should be with fear, for this the entrance gate to HaShem’s presence, blessed is He. Say in your heart, “Who do I wish to bond to?
