אם שמעת איש אחד מלמד טעות לתלמידו לא תאמר טעות אתה אומר אם הוא מתבייש בזה אלא תודיעהו לאחד מקרוביו או לאוהבו ואל תשפוך דמו. לא יאמר אדם לחבירו בקש איש פלוני בתי לבנו מפני שמתבייש האחר וזה מתגאה ונהנה לבו:
If you heard a man teach a mistake to his students do not say to him, if he would be insulted thereby, “You are making a mistake,” rather make it known to one of his relatives or loved ones and do not spill his blood. Let a man not say to his neighbor, “So and so approached me concerning my daughter for his son,” because the other is embarrassed while this one prides himself and his heart profits.1J. T.
