ואסור לקרוע בגדיו בחמתו או לשבר כליו בחמתו והשובר כלי בחמתו נקר' עובד ע"ז שכן דרכו של יצר הרע היום אומר עשה כן ולמחר אומר לך עבוד עבודה זרה והולך ועובד:
One is forbidden to tear clothing or break vessels in anger, and one who breaks vessels in anger is called an apostate for this is the way of the evil inclination, today he says, “Do this” and on the morrow he says to you, “Worship idolatry” and the individual does so.1Shabbath 105b.
