וכשתשאל על אדם אשר תרצה להתחבר עמו שאל מי רעהו כי האדם עושה כמעשה רעהו. על כן כשתהיה בתוך עם תתרועע לטוב ולא תתרועע לרע פן תרע כמוהו. כשתדבר בלילה השפל קולך וכשתדבר ביום הבט סביבותיך והזהר בדבריך מן הכותל שאחריך כי ימות אדם בכשלון לשונו ואל ימות בכשלון רגליו כי בכשלון לשונו יסיר את ראשו וכשלון רגליו ירפא לרוץ מעט:
