Sefer HaChinukh · Sefer HaChinukh, Chapter 554

‹›
  1. 1

That he should not divorce her all of his days: That one who puts out a bad name about his wife and is found to be a liar with his words is prevented from divorcing her forever. And about this is it stated (Deuteronomy 22:19), “he may not send her away all of his days.”

  2. 2

I have written about the roots of this commandment and how is the putting out of a bad name and a few of its laws in its positive commandment in this Order (Sefer HaChinukh 553), as is my custom — and take it from there.
