אמר השכל – זה ודאי, שהקב"ה הקים עולמו על המשפט, ומנהגו במשפט ישר ונאמן; וזה הדבר תראי אותו ברור בלי שום ספק, וכמו שהעיד הרועה הנאמן (דברים לב, ד), "הצור תמים פעלו כי כל דרכיו משפט, אל אמונה ואין עול, צדיק וישר הוא":
Said the Intellect - This is certain, that the Holy One blessed is he raised his world on justice, and guides it with straight and trustworthy justice; and this matter you will see clearly without any doubt, and as the trustworthy shepard testified (Deuteronomy 32:4), "The Rock his actions are pure because all his ways are just, a G-d of faith and without injustice, righteous and straight is he":
