Now, in the command “On this wise (KoH) shall ye bless”, it is signified that for the sake of Israel the very KoH is to be blessed by the priest, so that tsrael will be blessed below, and thus blessing will be diffused through the universe. As for the time to come, it is written, “The Lord bless thee out of Zion…” (Ps. 134, 3); as well as, “Blessed be the Lord out of Zion, who dwelleth at Jerusalem” (Ibid. 135, 21).’
