1(דברים יג ה) אַחֲרֵי ה׳ אֱלֹהֵיכֶם תֵּלֵכוּ – זֶה הֶעָנָן.(Devarim 13:5) "After the L-rd your G-d shall you go": This is a positive commandment.2וְאֹתוֹ תִירָאוּ – שֶׁיְּהֵא מוֹרָאוֹ עֲלֵיכֶם."and Him shall you fear": His awe shall be upon you.3וְאֶת מִצְוֹתָיו – זוֹ מִצְוַת עֲשֵׂה, תִּשְׁמֹרוּ – לִתֵּן לֹא תַעֲשֶׂה."and His mitzvoth shall you keep": This is a negative commandment.4וּבְקֹלוֹ תִשְׁמָעוּ – בְּקוֹל נְבִיאָיו."and His voice shall you heed": the voice of His prophets.5וְאֹתוֹ תַעֲבֹדוּ – עִבְדוּ בְּתוֹרָתוֹ, עִבְדוּ בְּמִקְדָּשׁוֹ."and Him shall you serve": Serve Him in His Temple.6וּבוֹ תִדְבָּקוּן – הִפָּרְשׁוּ מֵעֲבוֹדָה זָרָה וְדִבְקוּ בַּמָּקוֹם!"and to Him shall you cleave": Separate yourselves from idolatry and cleave to the L-rd.
