The Rebbe said, “In the Hodu (Psalm 107) which introduces the Friday-afternoon Minchah service,359In the Chassidic rite. See note 85. you can be broken hearted and pou out all your thoughts before God. This Psalm speaks of the troubles of the soul and how one cries out because of them. It can be understood by anyone,
“When you say KeGavna360"In the Manner” (Zohar II, 135a). This is also in the Chassidic rite. before the Shabbat evening Ma'ariv, you should be aroused with great joy and emotion when you recite the words, ‘And all of them are crowned in new souls.’”
אָמַר: "בְּהוֹדוּ" (תְּהִלִּים קז) שֶׁאוֹמְרִים בְּעֶרֶב שַׁבָּת בְּמִנְחָה, יְכוֹלִין לְשַׁבֵּר לִבּוֹ מְאֹד וּלְפָרֵשׁ כָּל שִׂיחָתוֹ שָׁם, כִּי שָׁם מְדַבֵּר מֵעִנְיַן צָרוֹת הַנֶּפֶשׁ מְאֹד, וּמֵעִנְיַן צְעָקָה עַל כָּל דָּבָר וְהוּא מוּבָן לַכֹּל.
