People have more power than the Evil Inclination itself. They have great power to influence others, keeping them from serving G-d and from a true tzaddik.
But man includes all realms. Therefore, a person can do more to deter another from God than can the Evil Inclination itself.119Cf. Likutey Halakhot, Ribit 5:1; ibid., Milah 5:21; ibid., Gezelah 5:17.
בְּנֵי אָדָם יֵשׁ לָהֶם כֹּחַ לִמְנֹעַ וּלְהָסִית אֶת הָאָדָם לְרַחֲקוֹ מֵעֲבוֹדַת הַבּוֹרֵא וּמִצַּדִּיקֵי אֱמֶת, יוֹתֵר מִן הַיֵּצֶר הָרָע.

The Evil Inclination is given power only in a particular realm. Its ability does not extend beyond this.
אֲבָל הָאָדָם הוּא כְּלָלִיּוּת, שֶׁכָּלוּל מִכָּל הָעוֹלָמוֹת. וְעַל־כֵּן מְנִיעוֹת שֶׁל בְּנֵי אָדָם הֵם יוֹתֵר מִמְּנִיעוֹת הַיֵּצֶר הָרָע.
